Yellow-legged Gull

Sparrowhawk (2)

Carsington Water
A juvenile Sparrowhawk was feeding on prey on the sloping grassy bank of the dam wall when a second juvenile flew in and attacked the first bird - presumably after the prey. The first bird saw the second one off in a matter of seconds. Most exciting!
