Save the Albatross

During the summer some keen Macclesfield Wildlife Explorers have been busy raising money for the RSPB's Albatross appeal.

Jack completed a 5km sponsored walk
and raised a brilliant £38.50.

William and Katherine cycled an incredible 23 miles, from Macclesfield to Marple,
raising sponsorship money of £25 each.

Congratulations to Jack, William and Katherine on their superb efforts to save help save the Albatross from extinction.

19 out of 21 species of albatross are threatened with extinction and every year 100,000 albatrosses are killed as a direct result of longline fishing.
