We made tree collages using the outline of our hands to make the shape of leaves.....

6 to 9 years (Yr 1 to Yr 4)

10 and over (Yr 4 to Yr 7 & Teenagers)

The older group got together to make an animated model of a tree,
so we could understand the role of the tree's constituent parts.


In the middle we needed people to represent the
'strong thick heartwood'.


Some of our leaders were ideal!

We did some leaf sieving to see what we could find.....

Everyone had the chance to have a go.

We found a tiny pseudoscorpion and had a look at it under our enlarger.
