Macclesfield Wildlife Explorers - Glorious Garden Wildlife

For our final Big Schools Birdwatch of 2009, we were at Bosley St Mary's Primary School. Stars of the show were a Rook pulling a fat ball string up to get at the food, and a fantastic count of 25 house sparrows. (With lots of sparrows already starting to refurbish their nests under the tiles.)

For our final Big Schools Birdwatch of 2009, we were at Bosley St Mary's Primary School. Stars of the show were a Rook pulling a fat ball string up to get at the food, and a fantastic count of 25 house sparrows. (With lots of sparrows already starting to refurbish their nests under the tiles.)
Volunteer RSPB Wildlife Explorer Leaders were on hand to explain how to use binoculars and 'spotting telescope' safely, and help with bird identification.
