![]() Macclesfield RSPB Wildlife Explorers set their alarm clocks much earlier than usual on Sunday morning. At six o’clock they joined an impressive gathering of sixty enthusiasts at the National Trust property at Alderley Edge to listen to the Dawn Chorus of early morning birdsong. |

![]() A walk through the woods in glorious spring sunshine provided wonderful conditions to hear and spot a wide variety of woodland birds. ![]() |

![]() We heard a whole range of woodland birds including nuthatches, long-tailed tits, blackcaps and even drumming woodpeckers. |
