RSPB Big Schools Birdwatch Bosley Primary School and Bobkins Pre-School Class Monday 16 January 2012 |
|
On a frosty but sunny morning, the whole of Bosley St Marys Primary School
(including Bobkins Preschool Class) took part in the
RSPB's Big School's Birdwatch 2012. |
![]() ![]() We learned about The RSPB, the reasons it is important we take part in The Big Schools' Birdwatch and the special way we count birds. We talked about the Birds that came top of the survey for Cheshire Schools last year and then we went into the fabulous school grounds to look for birds. |

There were lots of house sparrows, a robin, a blackbird and some chaffinches, all taking advantage of the great selection of bird feeders the school had created. |

A pair of blue tits were even investigating one of the school nestboxes. (All of the wildlife in the school grounds will benefit from the wonderful new pond!) |
