Children from Puss Bank enjoyed a lovely mild January morning for their

There were lots of birds on the bird feeders that the school had put up.
We saw Blackbirds, Woodpigeons and a Wren rooting through the leaf litter looking for insects, and lots of small finches and tits in the trees. |

We had fun using binoculars and got incredible views of birds like Jackdaws and Black-headed gulls
using telescopes. We also got really quick at using our Bird ID charts. |

Top spot of the day was a Sparrowhawk soaring over the school grounds
whilst being mobbed by four pigeons. |
