Dawn Chorus at Alderley Park

Dawn Chorus

Macclesfield RSPB Wildlife Explorers were up bright and early
to listen to the incredible birdsong of the Dawn Chorus at Alderley Park.

Following an introduction to bird song by David Tolliday,
the group set off on a 6am walk around Radnor Mere.

Unfortunately stormy weather was not far behind our intrepid birders and heavy hail and rain showers
cut our walk short.

A fantastic barbecue breakfast soon put the smiles back on everyone's faces.
