With excellent wet weather conditions in the run up to the event and the teams at the peak of their form,
hopes of achieving a good place in the World Rankings were high.

The competition took place on a warm, dry afternoon with a frantic half hour of charming.

Following experiments with techniques in previous years this year the teams concentrated on using
garden forks (some with additional tines) to mimic the vibrations of worm predators like moles.

Incredibly the results for both teams were separated by just one worm!
Final counts for the teams were confirmed as a fantastic 139 and 140 worms respectively.

A big Well done to both teams, the coaching staff and ghillies.
