I'm on the sea's side!

	Did you know? Over half of the UK's birds and animals live at sea? Great news! They can now be protected! The RSPB will be working with other experts to find the most important places for wildlife in the seas around our shores. We want these special areas to be protected just as nature reserves on land are protected.	Click on a shipping area to see what creatures live around our shores. Fundraising target= Ł700 Raised so far= Ł223.71
Macclesfield Wildlife Explorers & Phoenix want to help the RSPB set up safe places for sea creatures. We want to make sure that seabirds have safe places to nest on land AND feed at sea. These reserves will be wonderful for the octopuses, starfishes, seahorses, crabs, corals, anemones and all of the creatures that live there.

	At the end of another brilliant season, Macclesfield RSPB Wildlife Explorers would like to say a big THANK YOU to all of the members and their families for their support throughout the year.
Our group is run entirely by volunteers. Without the Leaders, parents and carers who help with planning, preparing, running and fund-raising for our meetings, our programme would simply not be possible. Thank you all. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in September. Next season's programme will be posted here in the summer.

World Worm Charming Championships

In a shock result our RSPB Phoenix Teams failed to 'charm' a single worm. "I can't believe it, we spent hours practicing. I blame the coach!" said Group Leader Tina.
