RSPB Gold Awards for Pikelow Farm.

Junior Leaders from Macclesfield RSPB Wildlife Explorers presented David and Ann Taylor with an RSPB Gold Wildlife Action Award in recognition of the amazing amount they do for wildlife and conservation at their home, Pikelow Farm in Marton.
The RSPB's Wildlife Action Awards celebrate practical conservation work to help wildlife, a committment to the environment and being environmentally friendly as well as communicating conservation messages to others. Pikelow Farm achieved highly in all categories.
As well as being a regular venue for Wildlife Explorer events and a great location for wildlife photographers, the hard work put in by the Taylors means that Pikelow Farm has proved a haven for declining species like Tree Sparrows. Pikelow Farm is also the venue for the RSPB Macclesfield Local Group's major fundraising event WOW (Wildlife & Outdoor World).
